QuantumStream Compute Unit — Simple, transparent pricing
QCU is calculated as 12% of your monthly compute subtotal. The compute subtotal is the value of CPU, RAM, and GPU time at the published provider rates. QCU applies only to compute. Storage and egress remain pure pass-through.

An active asset is any device that has sent telemetry data to QuantumStream within the last 30 days. If a device hasn't communicated in 30 days, it doesn't count toward your limit.
Once you exceed 15 active assets, QCU pricing kicks in automatically. You'll be charged 12% of your monthly compute costs. All features remain the same—nothing changes except the addition of the QCU charge.
Compute includes CPU time, RAM usage, and GPU hours—the resources that process your data. Storage is where data sits (S3, databases, etc.), and egress is data transfer out of the cloud. QCU only applies to compute; storage and egress are billed at exact provider rates with no markup.
